Verázial Labs was founded in early 2021 under the leadership of Emilio Gallego, with the vision of revolutionizing biometric technology. That same year, we achieved a first breakthrough by being selected for the StartUPV program, which boosted our initial development.

In 2022, we reached a significant milestone by implementing our innovative biometric system in all penitentiary centers in the Republic of Ecuador. This implementation significantly improved registration and control processes, consolidating our position in the market. In addition, we advanced to the second stage of the StartUPV program and were distinguished in the UPV Ideas Awards by the Universitat Politècnica de València, standing out among 22 startups.

The year 2023 was another great achievement for us, as we were selected as a beneficiary of the prestigious NEOTEC grant program, the most important grant in Spain. This recognition not only validated our innovation, but also provided us with the necessary resources to continue growing and developing new products.

In 2024, we were chosen to be part of the ICEX Next program, designed to boost the internationalization and export of Spanish startups and SMEs to other countries. This program provides us with specialized advice and financial support, making it easier for us to take our cutting-edge technological solutions to a global market.
