Verázial Labs awarded as Best Start-Up at the rePCV 2024 Awards

Valencia, July 11, 2024 – Verázial Labs, an emerging company in the field of biometric technology, has been recognized as the Best Start-Up in the field of business innovation and scientific-technological entrepreneurship in the Region of Valencia at the 6th edition of the Network of Valencian Science Parks Awards (rePCV). The gala, held on July 11 in the Assembly Hall of the Blue Cube of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), brought together prominent personalities from the public, academic and business spheres.

During the event, the Director of the Polytechnic City of Innovation – UPV and the General Director of Innovation of the Generalitat Valenciana (GVA) welcomed the attendees and highlighted the high level of the 38 candidate companies. The President of the rePCV also emphasized the support of the Valencian science parks in the consolidation of innovative initiatives.

At the gala, the companies were awarded in the categories of company-university collaboration, start-ups and spin-offs. The recognition for the best Start-Up was awarded by representatives of the UPV and the GVA. In this category, the start-up Verázial Labs was awarded for its outstanding Verazial ID solution, which offers secure identification through biometric technology.

This recognition not only represents an acknowledgement of Verázial Labs’ work, but also reaffirms its commitment to security and accuracy in biometric identification. “This award motivates us to continue growing and it is a source of pride to represent the innovative ecosystem of Valenciana,” said Alejandra Castillo, Digital Marketing specialist at Verázial Labs.
